Here’s a recent reconstruction of Livyatan melvillei I’ve been working on. There have been plenty of great reconstructions of this species depicting him as a gray, vaguely sperm whale-looking cetacean, so I wanted to take a slightly different approach & give him some distinctive markings & a bit of color as well.
